Loading... Please wait...Sniper Pack: Larger than the standard 3 day assault pack, it has a main compartment measuring approximately 2400 cubic inches fully loaded. It also has three large external pockets. Two on either side are 240 cubic inches each and the large external double pocket is 520 cubic inches bring the total capacity to approximately 3400 cubic inches. Made with double layer 1000D Cordura® fabric and 500D Cordura® lining inside the pack. It has built in rigidity for easier loading and weight distribution and to provide a more robust shooting platform. The sniper pack is, as its name suggests designed first and foremost as a stable rest for prone shooting. The standard MW magazine pouches are spaced to stabilize a sniper rifle between them. The two outer pockets have a pass through capability large enough to accommodate the MW Equatorian in its 1000D Cordura® sheath. It has tie downs allowing it to be carried similar to a machete. The pass throughs on those pockets will also hold your patrol weapon whether it be an M-4, M-14 or AK. There are attachment points at the bottom of the pack for carrying a bed roll or ghillie suit.
Daisy chain attachment points were placed over the top arch of the pack along with compression straps. A large drag handle joins the daisy chains at the top. Under the handle there is a large elastic flap which will easily allow for 2 camelbak reservoir hoses or communication gear. Internally there is a large pouch which will hold two 100 oz Camelbak reservoirs along the wearers back. Silent zipper pulls, a padded back panel and heavily padded should straps round out the MW Sniper Pack. Attached to the shoulder straps is an adjustable sternum strap, which can be raised or lowered for comfort. The shoulder straps also have numerous attachment points and pass throughs for hydration hoses and communication gear. Four plastic female buckles are built in for the option of attaching the Sniper Pack directly to the MW Combat Vest without the use of the shoulder straps.

Was teaching an LSDD (flashbang) class at a SWAT school. Loaded up my OD SNIPER PACK with an insane amount of bangs, tools, safety gear, refernce manuals, handouts, and my notebook. Filled all the pockets too with more bangs. It was seriously heavy, but I trusted the product to carry the weight. When I hefted the pack I thought, "Shit, I blew it, to much weight, this is gonna blow out and all my stuff will be everywhere, oh well, keep moving...." Didn't hear a single stitch pop. The structured shape made it easy to manuever. This is now my official Flash Bang class mobile storage / equipment pack. Nice job MERCWORX!
